Hailing from Chicago, DJ Apollo is a diversified disc jockey with twenty-five years of experience, best known for his keen hot mix style.

Through his years, he has mastered most genres of music, including, EDM, Latin, Steppers, Reggae, R&B, Techno, Salsa, Merengue, Pop, and Rock & Metal, among others.
DJ Apollo acquired a passion for music at a young age and learned to play both the piano and acoustic guitar. In early adolescence, Apollo gained inspiration from celebrity deejays, including Jam Master J (Run DMC), Eddie F (Heavy D & The Boyz), and Kut Creator (LL Cool J).
While in high school, as he mastered algebraic formulas, Apollo also learned various aspects of entrepreneurship. Apollo started his first entertainment company, Shadow Enterprises, through which he hosted multiple events, including teen dance parties. Apollo became an award winning DJ at just nineteen years, by receiving first place at the Midwest DJ Competition.
While in college, Apollo pursued studies in Multimedia Design and Development. All the while, Apollo was claiming a reputation as one of the most profound disc jockeys in the Midwest. Traveling from state-to-state, mixing, scratching and performing, DJ Apollo independently released and marketed hundreds of mixes, selling hundreds of thousands of copies.
In 2013, Apollo earned a Master's of Science in Entertainment Business. Apollo has taken his career worldwide through his online outlet, jukemixes.com, creating a larger presence throughout the U.S. and other foreign cities and countries including, Germany, Tokyo, Paris and Italy.
